Almost every current commercial film release can be viewed here
within days of its national release. Big box-office hits are shown
first on the big "Full Monty" screen, which has very impressive sound
quality and accommodates large audiences. In addition, the cinema
regularly presents special screenings - weekend morning Kids' Clubs, a
daily Asian film, Tuesday Cult Classic and Thursday Blockbusters are
all on offer. Treat yourself to a monthly ticket, which will allow you
to go to as many films as you want in that period for under £15. As
well as a range of drinks, popcorn and confectionery outlets, the
cinema houses the fully licensed Waterfront Restaurant. Free parking is
also available.

The Showroom
An excellent range of independent and international films, new
releases and blockbusters are regularly shown at this atmospheric art
cinema, which has two public auditoria. The Showroom has a cafe and
bar; both are very popular, though the opening times can be
unpredictable. It also operates as an events and conference centre and
is a preview theatre for film-makers. Admission is around GBP5, but
cheaper at off-peak showings
