The deal is exclusive to students and the rent is inclusive of: gas, electric, water, internet and car parking. The room must be taken for a minimum of ten months starting either in July, August or September.

This very spacious room is on the ground floor and is furnished with a large desk, chair, double bed, wardrobe, bedside table, chest of drawers and is fitted with a sink and hard wired internet port (although wireless is available).


The Lancer House is situated on Penistone road, on the outskirts of the City Centre close to Kelham Island and the opal 1, 2 and 3 buildings. The house is most suited to Master, PHD, Erasmus and Mature \ final year undergraduate students. The property is accessed via a registered key system and is split over three levels.


The house has two very large modern fitted kitchens and three communal bathrooms. Free laundry room facilities are available on the ground floor. RKJ Properties employs a cleaner to clean all communal areas of the house at least once a week.

The Lancer House is a 10-minute walk to Sheffield University or three minutes on the Supertram. Sheffield Hallam University is a 25-minute walk or 13 minutes by tram. Meadwhall Sheffield largest shopping complex is only a 28-minute tram journey and provides part time employment for students both in retail and the catering industries. Discounted uni-rider tram and bus passes can be purchased by students at a reasonable price online via the stage coach web site.

Across the road from the house there is a 24hr Tesco and several shops and takeaways in walking distance Kelham Island is Sheffield’s premier real ale territory and provides a number of award winning real ale pubs that serve a variety of local beers and good homemade food.

The City centre is just a 10 to 15 minute walk, or a short journey by bus or tram, and provides opportunity for both part time employment and nights out socialising. The variety of bars and restaurants situated on West Street are very popular and cater to wide range of tastes.
