Anti-social behaviour will be investigated and tackled across the whole of South Yorkshire when the South Yorkshire Police Authority meets community groups, local
businesses and Government partners today.
The
Stakeholder Conference will welcome representatives from Sheffield,
Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster, and it is hoped that this will be an opportunity to review
progress over the past 12 months.
The groups will also spend some time considering how different groups can
work together over the next year to make South Yorkshire a safer place
to live and work. The main areas of improvement due to changes made since last year's meeting include burglary which is
at a 25-year low, and theft from vehicles which is at its lowest level
in 20 years.
